In this interview, I chat with my lifelong best friend, Julie McBride.  Julie is a military wife and stay-at-home mom of three children.  She and her family currently reside on Scott Airforce Base in Illinois.

Married for almost 17 years to a career Army officer, Julie talks about the struggles of being a military family and how faith in God is essential to the transitory lifestyle.

Ironically, the interview occurred on the first official day of the United States’ government shutdown of  October 1, 2013.  This witty mom determines to look on the bright side of what could potentially be a dire situation stating,

“…My provision does not come from the government but from [God].”

Check out her story.
